You can go infernal on this.
Low DKP just means that you get the last pick.
DKP is a kind of ranking system; the one with the highest chooses first.

so if i understand you right :

You find an item worth 45 dkp

Player A has 500 dkp.

Player B has 499 dkp.

they both want the item

then Player A gets it for 45 dkp because he has 1 dkp more than the other..

so you dont bid for the items?

Like.. Player A bids 45 dkp
Player B bids 50 dkp
Player A raises to 60
Player B raises to 75
Player A folds
Player B gets the item for 75 dkp.

no were using a zero-sum system... however these last mc runs weve got like 8 boes which kindof put our total to -300 something... but supposedly we use a zero-sum anyways... also the reason C has got so much negative is that he as a MT got first pick for tanking gear..

No we dont do bidding. For several reasons, but to sum it up it's way to easy to exploit. However this is not a true zero sum system. It's a fixed price system based on Zero Sum prices from our old US guild. Who ever has the most DKP has first pick of the item (some class restrictions apply). We currently dont have any cap for how low you can go, but with regards to Caesar maybe it deservs some mulling over.

And yes, overall we are 300 dkp behind, but that's less than 6 dkp per raiding member and will sort it self out when we start to disenchant more.
