Also have you seen the new bronzedragonset for mages. Finally some decent magegear that really suit our needs.

Caesar was a bad mage true story. :P. On US servers he always died :P.

<3 my bang

yes, but only because you caused the entire raid to wipe so many times.

Actually there was no need for any mages to die, we had Cadsuane and Xixo pulling aggro the whole time. They took one for the team :-)

Lol Bang, I'm sitting up there now with my hunter. I forget to spam FD and I've tanked Onxyia, Hakkar, Ebonroc, flamgore, every Scholomace Boss, as well as every Strat boss by accident. I get lazy and forget I need to hit FD lol.
Upside is my hunter has something like 35 percent dodge with aspect of monkey and I pop deterence out of boredom. It's actually fun. We 15 Manned Onxyia two weeks back.
Xixo Ebayed his account. Cads is an iceblock whore.

wtf xixo ebayed his acc? Q.Q

How much did he get? Who plays Xixo now? did't he have full tier 2 and lots more? I'd guess it would go as butter on e-bay.. qq

Good Job on Onyxia though! I don't think I have seen 40 lvl 60 horde on at the same time ever so far here though, so maybe we will have to 15 man her to >:-) (I wish).

I want to see AQ too!

with a focused and attentive group of people u can easily 20-30 man most of MC and 25-30 man Onxyia. Just focus on getting the best gear for your classes from ZG and DM and whatnot, that with pots. Free epix

We need to do a few keyruns first. Don't think very many of us have the key yet, nor the MC-attunement.

faxmonkey is great, i learned a lot of what i know about frost maging from his videos and posts. he does tend to run out of mana faster than he has to in his pve fights with all the fireblasts though but that doesn't stop him, which makes him even more awesome. The use of lowbie blizzard to proc frostbite is crazy good too.

"ovski" or "gegon" does great with few people around.
he definatly has excellent reactions, like changing a fireball to frostbolt as a reflector activates and good grenade (thorium ones for some reason) placement, in other video's you see him placing lowbie blizzard a hundred times quicker than i ever could to pull a rogue out of stealth.
He does great bursts of glory in this video and in others, no pyroblast here though. I do feel that being able to wipe one opponent right out before the fight begins is something a lot of people can do. Additionally many of the fights were against pretty sub-par opponents.
The long fight against the priest was a lot of fun to watch, it seemed like he was sticking out of mindflay range deliberately sometimes which is a very nice move in that case.
In other videos you notice that he acts really erratically in group pvp with random polymorphs and odd targeting in general.
Also he seems unaware of the polymorph bug, with the spell not resetting the timer when casting on an already morphed target, this makes the thorium grenades pretty baffling because it's unlikely that he knows about the ignite proc of grenades when he doesn't even know about the poly bug.

Anyway, fun to watch.

Hi, new app here. Anyways i used to enjoy making pvp videos, mostly for guildies and you also learn a LOT from seeing yourself play.

Got a short trailer on google video, for some reason the filefront link to the full version is down:

That's me, and thank you! I am about to put the finishing touches to my second and last video as a mage atm.

(I feel the name Tomten, swedish for Santa Clause, wouldn't recieve the same welcome on this server. It was useful for finding other swedes and norwegians on a US server, now I'm going back to the name I've had in RPGs for as long as i can remember.)

PS, if you're a mage try this sheep macro:

/script if GetNumRaidMembers()>0 then c="Raid" else c="Party" end for i=0,40 do if UnitIsUnit(c..i.."Target", "Target") then SendChatMessage("**Warning!!** SHEEPING your target!", "WHISPER", this.language, UnitName(c..i)) end end
/cast Polymorph

It sends a tell to everyone in your group/raid who has your target that you're sheeping it.

No, thank you. Your videos are actually very educational. I haven't been doing pvp with a mage or at all for a any serious amount of time and learning from other peoples experience and tricks etc is really helpful too me because I don't have super reflexes, my fps isn't very good and I tend to get overwhelmed. I would be a much worse player if it weren't for videos like yours.

I will try that macro out sometime though currently we use detect magic to mark mobs before pulls and to probe sheep to check if it's yours. It works pretty well but i guess there are mods etc out there that make it easier.

those kind of macros are nice in 5 man instances, but detect magic works better when 5 mobs with the same names comes and all mages sheep the same. and it's less spam in raidchat :) It's also easy for tanks to know wich ones will be taken care of :)

I found it as most useful in PVP, 1.5s global cooldown is an infinity, and spam it once or twice before you're in range and your intended sheep won't have a long range DOT on it, after a while people came to know what a tell in the middle of a fight meant (and i didn't get close to as many embarrassing MTs). But it was also really useful for recovering when things went bad in ZG. If we got an extra pull (berserker punt/fear) and warriors/rogues/druids tried to offtank them it was good that they knew it was "their" blood drinker out of the X that was being sheeped.

That macro doesn't spam raidchat at all, it sends a whisper only to those who has your target, the ones who needs to know. It is very useful when things are hectic.

Caesar

ah yes it's a whisper! thought it ws the standard spam raid/party-chat sheep macro. that one seems a lot better!
